Caregiving 101

April 12 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

ALS Caregiving 101
  • This event has passed.

Caregiving 101 is a virtual event where anyone who cares for or about a person living with motor neuron disease can learn the basics, share their first-hand experiences, and ask questions to the expert specialists! The day will be broken into hour long segments by topic. Topics include physical therapy, occupational therapy, pulmonology, nursing, neurology, speech pathology, nutrition, and palliative care.  Virtual video training, Q&A sessions with specialists, andpeer-to-peerconversations help friends and family caregivers proactively understand and manage the care of a person with ALS, PLS, or PMA.

You are welcome to attend some, or all, of the sessions.

Register for access to the zoom session and to receive an emailed guide with resources, handouts and videos about caring for someone with ALS, PLS, or PMA. The zoom link and guide will be sent one week prior to the event. If you would like a paper copy sent to you, please let us know!
