Our New Name and Logo

A special message from Executive Director Lance Christian

The last year has been a time of amazing growth and evolution for The ALS Association Oregon and SW Washington Chapter. We are embracing change with excitement and optimism. Recently, I shared that our Chapter is separating from The ALS Association and standing up as a fully independent nonprofit organization.

We are excited to share our new name and look!

We are still the same people with the same mission. We will continue to provide compassionate care and support for people with ALS while also supporting advocacy and research for new treatments and a cure for ALS.

Our commitment to Services, Advocacy, and Research is stronger than ever.

Our community events that you know and love like ALS Walks, Ride, Ski and Gala will continue too – with some new names, but also with the assurance that you know you are contributing to our local ALS community.

Thank you once again for your continued support and for being a champion for ALS in our community. Together we make a difference. If you have any questions or feedback, I would love to hear from you!

Sincerely,

Lance Christian
