Did you know that we host an annual ALS research symposium where some of the nation’s foremost researchers come together to share the most promising findings from the hundreds of studies conducted in the past year? A symposium is a meeting where experts with knowledge in a particular field gather to discuss and present their research and ideas.
The ALS Research Symposium is a completely FREE informative community event. Anyone who wants to learn more about ALS and ALS research is welcome to join in-person or watch the livestream. You don’t need to be an ALS expert to take advantage of this once-a-year opportunity to meet and hear from world-renowned researchers.
THANKS TO YOU: The Research Symposium is free and open to all thanks to the support of our donors. Thanks to our committed community, we are able to provide this no-cost educational event – the only ALS research symposium in the Pacific Northwest!
The 2023 Research Symposium is on November 4, 2023.
2023 speakers include:
Dr. Anson Wilks, M.D., Oregon Health Science’s University ALS Center
